How To Change Roommates

Steps to add a new roommate:

1. New roommate(s) must fill out this Pre-Qualification Form and submit it for the landlord's approval.

2. Once landlord approves new roommate(s) current tenants must download, print, fill-out, sign and return this Addition of Tenant to Lease Addendum (Add New Roommate). All current tenants must sign.

Steps to remove a roommate:

1. Email landlord the name of the roommate that is moving out.

2. Download, print, fill-out, sign and return this Removal of Tenant Addendum (Remove Roommate). All current tenants must sign.

Notes:

1. Deposit refunds are only provided if the rental unit is vacated. Partial deposit refunds to out-going roommates are not provided.

2. It is recommended that either the remaining roommates and/or the new roommate reimburse the out-going roommate for his/her portion of the deposit.
